| In Nietzsche’s aesthetic studies, the meaning and value of The Science of Happiness have not been fully elaborated. As Nietzsche’s middle and late transitional work The Science of Happiness, the concept of "the science of happiness" and the idea of "eternal reincarnation" proposed in this book inherit part of the essence of Nietzsche’s early tragic artistic aesthetic thoughts and mid-term positivist aesthetic thoughts, while Nietzsche’s late "superhuman theory" "will to power" and other ideas can also find the development context in The Science of Happiness, which occupies a position that form a connecting link between the preceding and the following in Nietzsche’s philosophy and aesthetic system.First of all,in the first chapter, this paper analyzes the basic connotation of " the science of happiness" in combination with historical context, and tries to connect with Nietzsche’s unique life experience and restore the theoretical value of "the science of happiness" in Nietzsche’s unique philosophical framework.A holistic approach to Nietzsche’s philosophical life shows that the "the science of happiness" is actually an answer to the question of what is the truth of the world, and the concept of "the science of happiness" can also be seen as the result of the subsequent theoretical development of his later intellectual achievement,"eternal reincarnation".Therefore,in the second chapter of this article, the article divides Nietzsche’s philosophy into three historical stages, the early, the middle, and the late, sorts out Nietzsche’s thinking on this issue in different periods, and tries to explain the theoretical connection between "eternal reincarnation" and "the science of happiness",which is the method of undertaking "eternal reincarnation".Finally,in the third chapter, this paper analyzes the development process of "the science of happiness" and its continuation and transcendence of its pre-aesthetic ideas. In Nietzsche’s early aesthetic period,he also attached great importance to the status of art, such as in The Birth of Tragedy,Nietzsche regarded tragic art as the highest form. However,in the middle aesthetic period of Nietzsche represented by Human,All Too Human, the replacement of art by natural science occupied a very high position in Nietzsche’s aesthetics. The "the science of happiness" was born in Nietzsche’s inquiry into the truth of the world, and after choosing art or science,Nietzsche finally demanded to reconcile the dryness of science with the sweetness of art.The "happiness" part of the "the science of happiness" comes from art,and it should be noted that at this time Nietzsche sublate art, exalted "artist’s art",and abandoned "romantic art",and the "science" part of "the science of happiness" is not the natural science of clear and paranoid truth advocated in the period of Human,All Too Human, but a knowledge that comprehensively encompasses and respects individual life experience and is full of passion for exploration.Maintain the skeptical background of science and build a business full of artistic creativity rather than wear down vitality, that is,a new science based on the joy of art-"the science of happiness". |
