This paper makes a investigation of synonymous monosyllabic and disyllabic verbs"Xue(学)"and"Xuexi(学习)".we analyze the similarities and differences between the BCC corpus and the global intermediary corpus,and put forward relevant teaching suggestions according to the errors of Chinese learners.The main points are as follows:In terms of syntax,in terms of taking objects,"Xue(学)"and"Xuexi(学习)"can take nominal objects and predicate objects,but the syllables and types of the objects are different.Monosyllabic"Xue(学)"is free to choose syllables,but disyllabic"Xuexi(学习)"cannot take monosyllabic object;When"Xue(学)"is followed by a definite phrase,it means imitating the external behavior of people,so it cannot be replaced with"Xuexi(学习)";"Xuexi(学习)"followed by the medium object phrase,can not be replaced with"Xue(学)".In the aspect of complementation,the number and type of"Xue(学)"are more than"Xuexi(学习)";Among them,"Xue(学)"can bring possible complement,but"Xuexi(学习)"cannot.In the collocation of dynamic auxiliary words,When"Xue(学)"is followed by"Guo(过)"and a monosyllabic object,cannot be replaced with"Xuexi(学习)";After"Xue(学)"with dynamic auxiliary word"Zhe(着)"can form a fixed format"Xue(学)+zhe(着)"and"Xue(学)+zhe(着)+object",but"Xuexi(学习)"can only form a fixed format"Xuexi(学习)+zhe(着)".In the aspect of front adverbial,"Xue(学)"and"Xuexi(学习)"can be modified by adverbial to form the structure,among which prepositional phrase as adverbial appears most frequently.When modified by this preposition structure,"Xue(学)"can only take the object,forming"Zai(在)+place+Xue(学)+object";But after"Xuexi(学习)"can take the object,also can not take the object,form a fixed format"Zai(在)+place+Xuexi(学习)+object".In terms of acting as a non-predicate,"Xue(学)"basically does not act as other components."Xuexi(学习)"often acts as subject、object、attributive and central language in sentences.In terms of semantics,the semantic scope of"Xue(学)"is larger than"Xuexi(学习)".As far as the subject of action is concerned,Chinese native speakers tend to use"Xue(学)"and"Xuexi(学习)"to match with"people";In terms of the action object,"Xue(学)"tends to go with"skills"and"Xuexi(学习)"tends to go with"people".By examining the correct use cases of"Xue(学)",In terms of syntactic function,Chinese learners mostly use"Xue(学)"as predicate syntactic component,especially nominal object;it is found that in terms of semantic roles,the action subject of"Xue(学)"used by Chinese learners is often"human",and the action object is often"language".By examining the correct use cases of"Xuexi(学习)",In terms of syntactic function,of"Xuexi(学习)"fronted adverbial and nominal object appear most frequently;it is found that in terms of semantic roles,the action subject of"Xuexi(学习)"used by Chinese learners is often"human",and the action object is often"language".By investigating the overall situation of the errors,it is found that the errors caused by the use of"Xue(学)"and"Xuexi(学习)"of Chinese learners are mainly wrong order and wrong substitution.According to the errors and causes of Chinese learners’acquisition of"Xue(学)"and"Xuexi(学习)",four specific teaching suggestions are put forward for Chinese teachers’classroom teaching.They are Chinese teachers should use frame structure to distinguish the syntactic differences between"Xue(学)"and"Xuexi(学习)",use block teaching method to strengthen collocation rules of"Xue(学)"and"Xuexi(学习)",focus on explaining adverbial order and attributive order rules of"Xue(学)"and"Xuexi(学习)"and focus on the co-occurrence rules of"Xue(学)"and"Xuexi(学习)"and function words. |
