| The course of “Comprehensive Chinese” is a course that integrates Language element teaching,Cultural Knowledge teaching,Language skills teaching and Communicative Language ability.Currently,many faculties of teaching Chinese are concerned with how to teach effectively “Comprehensive Chinese Course” to international students.The “Situational Teaching Method” is currently received a great deal of attention,which plays a significant role in teaching “Comprehensive Chinese Course”.However,the “Situational Teaching Method” to the design and study of“Advanced Comprehensive Chinese Online Course” in International Chinese Language Education has rarely been addressed.The adoption of this method in integrated“Advanced Comprehensive Chinese Course” not only can help students with better and faster comprehension of the subject matter but also promote their interests in learning while improving their Chinese Language skills.Therefore,this study presents a relevant and effective online teaching design of the “Advanced Comprehensive Chinese Course”based on the “Situational Teaching Method” in the class A grade 2020 in the major of International Chinese Language Education at Southwest University.Moreover,it is expected to be a little bit contribution to the progress in the field of Chinese language teaching and learning.At first the author presents her study in the following parts such as research background,significance,content,purpose,methods and the current situation of the research before turning to the theme-teaching design of the “Advanced Comprehensive Chinese Course”.Secondly,the author analyses the basis of teaching design of integrated Chinese classes in the perspective of “Situational Teaching Method” after the introduction of the theoretical basis,definition,characteristics,and principles of Situational Teaching Method.In the design of teaching,the author analyses the teaching object,the teaching environment and the teaching materials in depth,and then integrated the “Situational Teaching Method” into all aspects of the teaching process,including the teaching objectives,the teaching contents,and the difficulties in teaching.Finally,the author conducts teaching practice with this teaching design,then provides the evaluation and reflection on the teaching design of this lesson from the students’ and teachers’ perspectives in order to know how efficient this method can be.Through this study,we can see use “Situational Teaching Method” in the online teaching of “Advanced Comprehensive Chinese Course” in International Chinese Language Education has certain practicality and teaching effect.Through the application of “Situational Teaching Method”,the author makes students experience a rich and colorful learning form,stimulates students’ interest in learning,and improves teaching efficiency,making online teaching more efficient and better. |
