| As an important part of the film industry structure,the film festival exhibition has become more and more prominent in its functions and significance.It not only plays a major artistic value and cultural significance,but is also used as a tool to enhance the local image and promote economic development.At the same time,as a festival activity and cultural ceremony,the film festival exhibition is also closely related to the spatial dimension.Scholars such as Lefebvre believe that space is the product of society,the carrier of production relations and social order,and the carrier of the interaction between humans and space.However,the past researches on film festivals usually focused on the operation of their ontology,and ignored the discussion on the spatial dimension.The holding of film festivals needs to rely on a certain material space,and thus constitute a kind of social space,that is,through the participation and practice of the active subject,the cultural vitality and public charm of the regional space are displayed in a grand form and rich content.The Pingyao International Film Festival is the only film exhibition held in my country to create a professional independent art space in a world cultural heritage site.It was founded by the famous director Jia Zhangke.It uses the built-in film palace in Pingyao ancient city as a venue and film art as a carrier.The social space created by the production practice related to film and television cultural activities.Within the scope of this high-density event,whether it is the exchange and sharing of film screenings and academic activities or the trade negotiation in the film industry market,it has brought people a positive concept of participation and sharing,and constructed a profound meaning that includes human behavior.Cultural representation and dissemination in regional space.Therefore,the article selects the Pingyao International Film Festival as the research object,aiming to analyze the production mechanism behind the space production as an artistic and cultural space.Based on the ternary dialectical relationship of Lefebvre’s space production,this article first discusses that the Pingyao International Film Festival is a process of being endowed with cultural meaning and representational space from space practice —substantial space to relational space,spatial representation— —The spatial production pattern constructed by the above three dimensions of spatial interpretation and artistic experience.Secondly,it discusses the spatial formation mechanism of the Pingyao International Film Festival,that is,government departments use power capital and institutional discipline to macro-control space production,the film festival team uses professional experience and cultural symbols to carry out content planning and event execution,and movie fans and audiences use space imagination.Participating in life and completing the internalization of spatial representation and resistance to spatial discipline,through the intervention and game process of three types of production subjects,completed the spatial practice,cultural representation and communication ceremony of the Pingyao International Film Festival.Thirdly,I summarize and reflect on the spatial production mechanism of the Pingyao International Film Festival,and believe that the Pingyao Film Festival,as a special film cultural coordinate,has rich artistic value and cultural significance,but the spatial operation of the film festival is generally top-down.The space production mode of the film,the space production mechanism is dominated by the power capital owned by the government;on the one hand,the film festival team is subject to administrative control,and on the other hand,it controls the production of space content;while the fans and audiences as passive receivers have confrontations The rights and freedoms of system discipline,but this kind of rights and freedoms have limitations,which determines that this one-dimensional space production lacks the motivation for sustainable development.We must be committed to creating a reciprocal film festival exhibition space production mechanism,enhancing the interactive experience of the whole people,so as to inject real lasting vitality into the film culture industry. |
