Study On The Formal Language Of Zhao Peizhi’s Oil Painting

In the field of domestic modern and contemporary painting,Zhao Peizhi is an artist with a unique artistic style.The early works were mainly representational and realistic.With the constant deliberation and exploration of painting art,the oil painting language of its own was gradually formed.Generally speaking,his artistic course evolved from the initial representational realism to the present representational expressionism painting.This paper analyzes the formal language and style evolution of Zhao Peizhi’s paintings by means of work analysis and text narration,explores the characteristics of his painting language,summarizes the successful experience,and discusses the influence of Zhao Peizhi’s works on me.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part explains the reasons for the formation of Zhao Peizhi’s formal language,including the influence of Northwest plateau culture,western study tour experience and fusion of Chinese and Western exploration on his art.The second part combs the history of the development of character oil painting and analyzes Zhao Peizhi’s specific paintings,exploring the form language of modeling,color,brushwork,space and other four aspects;The third part tries to understand Zhao Peizhi’s artistic thought and its aesthetic value in combination with personal creation experience and expounds Zhao Peizhi’s inspiration to my artistic creation.
