Under The New Media Technology In Sound Visualization Applications In Sculpture Works

As the society gradually enters the era of new media,in the process of continuous technological progress,one of the intuitive manifestations in the art field is the cross-boundary integration of new media technology and sculpture art in many aspects.Under the influence of new media,new media and new technology,the field of sculpture is constantly exploring new language and new forms suitable for itself,presenting a new appearance.New media technology makes the realization of sound visualization possible.Tracing the history of using sound to visualize and express auditory feelings in the art field,there is a traceable relationship between sound providing auditory feelings and sculpture as a visual art.This study will carry out theoretical research and creative practice on the sculpture art of using new media technology to express the visual form of sound,so as to explore more possibilities for sculpture art creation brought by the intervention of new media technology.This study first starts with the new characters of new media,based on the crossover of new media technology and sculpture,discusses the internal relationship between the two,and the application status of new media in sculpture,and analyzes the new media technology means that can be used in sculpture and the effects that can be presented from the perspective of creators.Secondly,starting from the creation idea of "The Universe of Music",it traces back the works of sound visualization in the field of sculpture,introduces the new opportunity brought by new media technology,and analyzes relevant works with examples to explore how to take sound visualization as the theme and new media technology as the means of sculpture creation.Then,through the creation of the work "Universe of Music" to try to sound visualization.Finally,from the perspective of personal creation,the future of sculpture art is considered and prospected.This study attempts to find out the shaping method for sculpture to express sound visualization theme from the author’s personal creation practice,so as to explore the new theme and new direction of sculpture creation by using new media technology and sound visualization means to express auditory feelings.New media and technology are the inexhaustible driving force of contemporary sculpture creation.Sculpture art will continue to explore new possibilities in visual technology,tactile technology,auditory technology and other aspects in the future.With the influence of new media and new technology,contemporary sculpture continues to cross its own boundaries.Sculptors will use richer scientific and technological means in sculpture creation to find more possibilities.
