Numerals and Chinese numeral words,which are widely used,play an important role in modern Chinese.There are clear standards for the application conditions of Arabic numerals and Chinese characters numerals,but in practice,not only international students,international Chinese teachers and even textbooks have many cases of non-standard application of numerals.At the same time,the teaching of Chinese numerals is seemingly simple,and it is easy for native Chinese speakers in Chinese environment to grasp its usage.However,for overseas students,there will be various errors in the use of numerals.Based on GB/T 15835-2011 “General rules for writing numerals in public texts”,the non-standard types of digital form are divided into two categories: the selection of digital form is not standardized and the use of digital form is not standardized,and the lower classification is extended.Then,from the HSK dynamic composition corpus and the global Chinese interlanguage corpus,a large number of corpora with non-standard application of digital forms are screened for evidence.Through the questionnaire survey of international Chinese teachers and the investigation of the application norms of digital forms in textbooks,it is found that the reasons for the non-standard application of digital forms by international students are not only the internal reasons of the complicated application forms,but also the external reasons of the students’ influence of the non-standard digital forms on the network,the teachers’ insufficient grasp of digital norms,and the non-standard compilation of textbooks.Students majoring in international Chinese language education and international Chinese language teachers should be specially trained to standardize digital form.Relevant notes should be added to the compilation of textbooks and timely revised with the update of national standards.Teachers should consciously and gradually teach digital form in class.In the study on the use of Chinese numeral words,numerals are first divided into three categories: cardinals,ordinals and numeral-containing words.Then,through the analysis of a large number of corpora screened from the two corpora,it is found that there are mainly four types of numerals errors: confusion,omission,misaddition and misorder.The main reason for the error lies in the interference of words with the same or similar sound,shape and students’ insufficient grasp of the meaning and usage of numerals.In the compilation of textbooks and teaching,teachers should follow the teaching syllabus and strengthen the discrimination of numerals and similar words.
