Attaching importance to the teaching of Chinese characters is one of the core tasks of international Chinese teachers in the new era.Based on the perspective of form proximity,the author selects "日" and" 目" as the research object of this paper,and combines the corpus resources of HSK dynamic composition corpus and Sun Yat-sen University corpus(the international students’ whole-course intermediate word database)to comprehensively describe and analyze the errors of international students in learning"日" and "目".On this basis,a questionnaire survey was carried out for teachers and international students at the School of International Exchange of Nanchang University,in order to explore the teaching methods for international students to effectively master the characters of "日" and "目" and distinguish the similar characters of "日" and "目",so as to reduce the errors in the teaching of Chinese characters to foreign students to a certain extent.This paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter 1 is the introduction,which mainly describes the reason for the topic selection,the research object,the existing research summary in the academic circle,the research significance,the research methods and the source of corpus.Chapter 2 is a comparative analysis of the characters "日" and "目".First of all,the "日" and "目" characters in "Outline of Chinese Level Vocabulary and Chinese Character Level" and "HSK Standard Course" are sorted out and summarized,and the specific range of "日" and "目" characters in this paper is determined by a comparative analysis from two aspects of inclusion range and grade distribution.Secondly,on this basis,the paper makes a comparative analysis of "日","目" and its part characters from three aspects of character theory:form,sound and meaning,in order to provide reference for the teaching methods of form and proximity characters from different perspectives.Chapter 3 analyzes and investigates the errors of "日" and "目 ".Firstly,the screening statistics and descriptive analysis are carried out on 170,000 written corpora of”日" and" 目" in the HSK dynamic composition corpus and the corpus of Sun Yatsen University,including the description and classification analysis of the error types and error data.Meanwhile,in the error types,the side-by-side errors caused by form proximity are highlighted.Secondly,questionnaires are designed for teachers and international students in School of International Exchange of Nanchang University,and corresponding conclusions are drawn.Finally,based on the above error analysis and investigation,the author explores the causes of errors in the writing of "日" and "目"from three aspects:the characters,students and teachers.Chapter 4 from the perspective of teacher teaching,learners themselves and textbooks,puts forward some specific suggestions on the teaching of "日" and "目" in accordance with the conclusions drawn above.Chapter 5 is the conclusion,which explains the main conclusions,innovations and shortcomings of this paper.
