First of all, we have tracked to the origin of relationship between sino-Japan characters and also cited instances to analyze to that why they are different from each other. The reasons mainly lies in that they has chosen different characters when simplifying and clarifying the variant Chinese characters.Secondly, we have done a research on writing of Japanese learners (32persons) by means of writing test as well as the analysis of the research results, via which we have found that the results turned to be different from what we had expected to. We divided the errors generally into three parts including writing Japanese characters, writing Chinese characters which is similar in shape or pronunciation as well as writing the characters belonging to neither.Afterwards, we have launched the analysis of errors based on the question types, the objective of which is to find out that under what kind of circumstance, there will be a highest accuracy.Later on, we have analyzed the law of the error-occurrence-rate as well as the writing habit of the participants. At the end, we have surveyed the intermediate and advanced Chinese learners by using a short questionnaire. Then we interviewed some of them briefly, the objective of which is to prove the results from various angles. The objective of our experiment is to find out what kind of errors will occurs, why they occurred, is there any rules, how to control the error rates as well as the writing habits and attitudes of participants will influence character writing to what extent. Furthermore, we intend to apply the results to character teaching.
