| The Spring Festival is the most solemn traditional festival of the Chinese nation.Taking the Spring Festival as an example,this paper explores the current situation of cultural symbol sharing and cultural integration among various ethnic groups,and selects the Qinglong area of Hebei where the Manchus have pioneered and prospered since the Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 300 years as the field point.Through on-the-spot investigation,it is found that the Spring Festival etiquette and customs have formed a series of development changes through the fusion and collision of different types of cultures in the local area.This paper firstly introduces the origin and development of the Spring Festival,researches and sorts out the traditional rituals and customs of the Manchu Spring Festival,and conducts field investigations on the Spring Festival rituals and customs in the contemporary Qinglong Manchu area,and organizes and records them from the three aspects of diet,ceremony and entertainment.Explore the differences between Chinese New Year traditions and contemporary customs.And from the aspects of nature,politics,history,economy,ethnic exchanges,and foreign culture,it analyzes the factors that affect the changes of Manchu Spring Festival customs,and concludes that the changing trend of Manchu Spring Festival customs confirms the theory of the Chinese nation’s pluralistic unity and conforms to the community of the Chinese nation.At the same time,it points out that the changes of Spring Festival customs have the characteristics of simplification of traditional customs,modernization of ritual activities,environmental protection of celebration forms,diversification of entertainment methods,and compatibility and openness of development.The changes in Manchu Spring Festival etiquette and customs are not only the result of the blending of ethnic cultures,but also a new starting point for consolidating the consciousness of the Chinese nation’s community.We should firmly grasp the significance of the sharing of cultural symbols among ethnic groups in forging the sense of community of the Chinese nation,so as to promote the prosperity of Chinese culture,build harmonious ethnic relations,and enhance the identity of Chinese culture and the Chinese nation. |
