The Twenty Four Solar Terms culture is an important part of Chinese traditional culture,and is also an important content of international Chinese culture teaching.Each theme under the twenty four solar terms contains rich cultural connotations,but for international students,the content of the solar term culture is very abstract.The thematic situational teaching method emphasizes the theme as the core.By creating a series of connected theme situations integrating various teaching resources,the abstract content can be embodied,fully mobilize students’ enthusiasm to learn,so that students can independently explore and master learning ideas and complete learning tasks.Therefore,this thesis designs and practices the online international solar terms teaching based on the thematic situational teaching method,hoping to use this teaching method to better achieve the teaching effect,but also help the international Chinese teachers to expand some cultural teaching ideas.This thesis is divided into six parts:The introduction part introduces the reason and significance of the topic selection,research methods,summarizes and sorts out the research status of thematic situational teaching method and international solar terms teaching.The first chapter through reading and sorting out relevant documents,the author made an overview of the twenty four solar terms culture and analyzed its connotation and teaching value,and then analyzed the teaching status of international Chinese solar terms culture from the aspects of teaching content,teaching methods and learning needs.The second chapter on the overview of thematic situation teaching method,on the basis of by comparing the characteristics of the thematic situation teaching method and the characteristics of the twenty four solar terms culture teaching content and combined with the international Chinese curriculum requirements,the author discusses the feasibility of combining the thematic situational teaching method with the online international Chinese solar term culture teaching.The third chapter takes the winter solstice an example and conducts teaching design based on the thematic situational teaching method.On the basis of sorting out the overall teaching ideas,preparing the teaching design,and implementation,the author tested the students by setting up a control group,obtained the feedback of the students’ mastery of knowledge,interviewed the students,and verified the test results.In chapter four,the author reflects on the teaching design of this thesis from the aspects of teaching that are conducive to teaching development and noteworthy places,and puts forward some suggestions for the teaching of international Chinese solar terms culture from five aspects: teaching preparation,teaching environment,teaching links,teaching arrangements,and teaching practice.The concluding part summarizes the writing ideas,conclusions and shortcomings of the whole thesis.
