Painting not only has the internal development logic of language itself, but also interacts with the external environment in the process of modeling deduction. The renewal of artistic concept and the iteration of image technology often happen simultaneously, and the specific visual interest can be derived from the specific social culture and technical environment.Marshall Mc Luhan,a famous Canadian communication scholar, defines a "serious artist" as someone who is capable enough to cope with the violent invasion of technology and is extremely sensitive to changes in perception and feeling.Mc Luhan saw technology not only as an extension of human faculties, but also as "the silent application of technological assumptions to the human psyche by redesigning the ’proportions of the senses’ ".Contemporary digital image technology, like photography in the 20 th century, imperceptibly transforms people’s visual experience, deduces a new logic from the painting language paradigm and modeling interest, and guides the simultaneous transformation of methodology and concept.Through case studies of contemporary artists who use the principles of digital image technology to create works, this paper points out the correlation between the interest of painting modeling and the features of digital images, analyzes how rules and instructions react to contemporary image technology in the creation process, and how digital technology participates in creation as a means of assisting modeling. On the basis of the above research, the author combines the digital features of images with the current visual experience and self-feeling,re-interprets the alienated images, updates individual language and artistic concepts, and carries out a series of practices in an attempt to create new viewing experience and expression methods, and build a "simulacra" world parallel to reality. |
