Research On Anhui No.1 Cotton Textile Mill (1953-1960)

As the basic industry of our textile industry,cotton textile industry has been playing an important role in our national economy.It is closely related to the development of agricultural economy and rural revitalization.However,the traditional industry research represented by cotton spinning is relatively weak,and it is worth paying attention to.Based on the available materials,this paper takes Anhui No.1cotton mill as an example to study the cotton textile industry in Anhui Province in order to make a breakthrough.Anhui No.1 cotton textile mill was put into operation in 1957 and existed for more than 40 years.It was one of the key enterprises in Anhui Province until the textile mill was reorganized in 1998.The two most prominent stages of development are the formal completion of the plant in 1957 and the technical innovation period in1960.In 1957,the textile factory was put into production,the gross output value accounted for 1/5 of the total industrial output value of the province,and in 1958 the trend of enterprise management was good.Since 1959,due to the shortage of raw cotton supply,textile mill production scale was significantly reduced.But then the factory through the spirit of innovation,innovation equipment,promote the efficiency of production,and for the resumption of production after the creation of favorable conditions.At the same time,the management system of the textile factory has been changed,from the initial“One-long system” to“The director’s responsibility system under the leadership of the party committee”,the party’s leading role in the enterprise has been established and plays an important role.With the improvement of the management mechanism,workers and enterprises have established a close relationship.On this basis,as the most important support of the enterprise-the construction of employee welfare system can be effectively carried out,the living standards of workers have been improved,the enthusiasm for production has been stimulated,and promote the further development of the enterprise.In addition,the exchange of the two cultures within the factory is also one of the outstanding features in its development process.In the context of the inward migration of enterprises in the1950 s,Anfang No.1 received assistance from Shanghai,improve the level of enterprise technology and brand influence.The 1950 s and 1960 s were an important period in the history of the cotton textile industry in Anhui province and even in the whole country.While bearing in mind the past achievements,it is still necessary to draw on experiences and lessons,and more importantly,to probe into some problems,seek solutions.At present,our cotton textile industry is faced with unprecedented challenges,how to break the predicament,seize the opportunity,usher in a new prosperous situation,carrying forward the pioneering spirit is the most important.In the new era of socialist modernization,enterprises must change their traditional ideas and take the initiative to assume the responsibility of the main microeconomics to promote the prosperity and development of cotton spinning industry.Therefore,the study of Anhui No.1 cotton textile mill is of great practical significance to promote the reform and innovation of textile enterprises.
