At present,China is at a new stage of economic and social transformation and acritical period of building its powerful socialist cultural.Influenced by the profound changes and adjustments in the economic system,social structure,and interest pattern,as well as factors such as the evolution of new and old concepts,diverse social trends,and the pursuit of market economy benefits,phenomena such as mediocrity of literary and artistic content,vulgarization of literary and artistic style,and flattery of literary and artistic creation(hereinafter referred to as "three vulgarities")are rampant.These negative phenomena not only distort artistic standards,destroy the ecological environment of literature and art,hinder the healthy and prosperous development of literature and art,but also seriously calcifie people’s spiritual will,corrode people’s spiritual thinking,disintegrate national spirit,and affect the construction of spiritual civilization and cultural power.Therefore,it is imperative to promote the governance of the "three vulgarities" in the field of literature and art.The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has always attached great attention to the governance of the "three vulgarities" phenomenon in the field of literature and art.For example,in 2010,Comrade Hu Jintao clearly pointed out at the 22nd collective study of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on deepening the reform of China’s cultural system that we must resolutely resist the tendence of "three vulgarities".The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly states:"Strengthen cultural confidence,promote the prosperity of socialist culture,advocate for the proposal of taste,style,and responsibility,and resist mediocrity,vulgarity,and flattery."
