After the establishment of the People’s Republic of C hina,C hinese composer s have inherited China’s traditional music culture,borrowed from the writing tech niques of Western composers,and continuously explored issues related to nationa l piano art,creating piano music works that are loved by many audiences.Among them,Wang Jianzhong,as a composer with a professional backgrou nd in piano,is skilled in piano performance,and most of his music works are mainly composed of piano instrumental music.He combined Chinese music melo dy with Western music composition techniques,forming a new path of music int egration and development.His works have diverse themes,distinct styles,and hi gh artistic taste,which are deeply loved by piano performers both domestically a nd internationally.And many of his works can be cal ed classics.The article starts with the piano adaptation of "Liuyang River" and explores Wang Jianzhong’s use of his creative techniques to showcase his unique nationa l style.And when playing this piece,special attention should be paid to tradition al music elements.This article mainly explores how folk music materials are inh erited and developed in piano music based on Wang Jianzhong’s piano adaptation s,combining piano music from various periods and genres,as well as musical el ements from various ethnic groups.
