The Artistic Elements, Dramatic Features And Performance Interpretation Of Pingtan's Piano Adaptation "Butterfly And Flower" By Wang Jianzhong

Wang Jianzhong,a famous composer and pianist in China,has created many piano works in his lifetime.Among all of his piano works,transcriptions can be the core.Die LianHua is the last piano transcription created by him and the only piano transcription based on an opera.The work of the prototype is created by Zhao KaiSheng,the artist of storytelling and ballad singing in Suzhou artists,being called Die LianHua-Da Li Shuyi,In Wang Jianzhong’s Die LianHua,a lot of opera elements are preserved and drama is also reflected in the work.From Wang Jianzhong and piano transcriptions,Die LianHua,storytelling and ballad singing in Suzhou dialect will be first introduced in the thesis,Then,from the perspective of the characteristics of tempo,structure,emotion,singing and accompaniment of music,the opera elements retained in the work and how drama is embodied will be analyzed,and finally how these unique opera and drama characteristics should be interpreted in the performance will be analyzed.Through the analysis and research of the piano transcription of Die LianHua,it is hoped by the author that elements of traditional Chinese music culture contained in Chinese piano works can be attached great importance,and there will be more opportunities to hear the piano speak "Chinese" on the world stage.
