Since The New Century,Chi Zijian Has Written A Long Novel Of Northeast Trauma Memory | | Posted on:2024-04-08 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Y S Zhou | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2555307076466264 | Subject:Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Chi Zijian’s literary vision has never left the land of Northeast China,and the experience and regionality of Northeast China have become distinctive characteristics of Chi Zijian’s novel creation.At the beginning of the new century,Chi Zijian published "Puppet Manchukuo",which re-unveiled the pseudo-Manchukuo imprint of Northeast China history in a unique narrative way and told the traumatic memories of an era.Subsequently,Chi Zijian continued the narrative track of trauma writing,and published "The Right Bank of the Erguna River" and "Snow Crow",showing us the history of disasters and disasters in Northeast China and the history of survival trauma of ordinary people in Northeast China.Chi Zijian traces the history of Northeast China,and under the chain of traumatic memories,tries to sort out the traumatic memories entangled in the hearts of the people of Northeast China and resist forgetting.Based on Chi Zijian’s traumatic texts since the new century,this thesis will explore from four aspects: the different dimensions of trauma writing,the object of trauma narrative,the strategy of trauma narrative,and the literary value of traumatic memory writing.The first chapter discusses the dimension of Chi Zijian’s traumatic memory writing.This chapter divides Chi Zijian’s writing of traumatic memories in Northeast China into three different dimensions,namely: the wounds of colonization and war,the wounds of disease,and the wounds of culture.Through the analysis of specific representative works,this thesis explores the traumatic thinking of writers based on nation,region and civilization.Chapter 2 discusses the image construction of Chi Zijian’s traumatic memory writing.This chapter points out that on the one hand,Chi Zijian gazes at the female group in the northeast perspective,highlighting the unique life force of the female group under the trauma of the times;On the other hand,Chi Zijian turned his gaze to deformed marginal figures and paid special attention to this group.Finally,the article points out that Chi Zijian portrayed other ethnic groups living in the northeast and realized cross-ethnic image depiction.Chapter 3 explores Chi Zijian’s strategy of traumatic memory writing.This thesis analyzes the way of Chi Zijian’s trauma writing from the aspects of temporal and spatial strategy,narrative perspective and language rhetoric,and explores the role of the use of narrative mode on Chi Zijian’s trauma writing text.Chapter 4 analyzes the literary significance and research value of Chi Zijian’s traumatic memory writing in Northeast China.This chapter explains the literary value of Chi Zijian’s traumatic memory writing in Northeast China from three aspects: constructing modern regional discourse in Northeast China,highlighting regional spirit,looking into war ethics,and providing a literary aesthetic paradigm of sadness without despair. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Chi Zijian, Novel, The northeast, Historical memory, Trauma writing | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
