A Study On The Kinship Terms Of Jiangxi Chongyi Dialect

Based on the corpus of 16 dialect points in Chongyi County obtained from field investigation,this paper mainly describes the kinship appellations system of Chongyi dialect,summarizes the characteristics of kinship appellations in Chongyi County,makes a comparative study of kinship appellations in Chongyi dialect,and probes into the related factors affecting the variation of kinship appellations in Chongyi dialect.This paper is divided into three parts as follows:The first part of the introduction introduces Chongyi County’s geographical history and dialect survey,research status,research significance,research methods and corpus sources.The second part is Chapter 1 to Chapter 5,which is the main body of the article.The first chapter describes the kinship appellation system of Chongyi dialect from six aspects: ancestor,father,peer,son,grandson and collective appellation.The second chapter,according to the kinship appellation system of Chongyi dialect,concludes that the kinship appellation of Chongyi dialect follows the basic rules of Chinese kinship appellation,has high internal consistency,and retains the general characteristics of a large number of ancient words.The third chapter analyzes the word formation forms of kinship appellations in Chongyi dialect,and studies the pragmatic characteristics from the appellations of ranking,from other kinship appellations,homonyms,and compound appellations.The fourth chapter compares relative appellations with Meixian dialect and Putonghua,finds similarities and differences,and then compares relative appellations of local "old,middle-aged and young three generations" between generations to show the dynamic change of kinship appellations in Chongyi dialect.The fifth chapter sums up the expression forms of the change of kinship appellations in Chongyi dialect,and explains the influence on kinship appellations in Chongyi dialect from three aspects: marriage and family concept,regional culture and Mandarin.The third part is the conclusion,combing the contents of the above chapters and pointing out the shortcomings of the article.In this paper,through the field investigation of kinship appellations in 16 dialect points in Chongyi County,the corpus of kinship appellations system in Chongyi dialect is obtained,so as to provide more complete,true and reliable dialect materials for the study of Hakka dialect.In addition,the study of kinship appellations in Chongyi dialect is helpful to understand the local cultural characteristics and provide references for the improvement of local Chronicles and other documents.
