Research On The Teaching Situation And Suggestions About "An Overview Of China" For International Students In China

In recent years,more and more students coming to Study in China,which has created conditions for us to cultivate a group of students who love Chinese culture and are friendly to China.In the Administrative Measures for Enrollment and Cultivation of International Students,"An Overview of China" has only become a compulsory course independent of language teaching since 2017.The construction of the course system needs to be improved and many problems need to be solved.This paper takes the "An Overview of China" courses of 7 universities in Chengdu as the research object,and adopts the methods of questionnaire survey,interview and research to collect the opinions of the teaching objects of "China Profile" courses of these 7 universities.The questionnaire data were analyzed by SPSS21.0.The results show that there are some problems in the curriculum,teachers and students of this course,which need to be improved.On the basis of summarizing the previews issues in recent years,the author puts forward her own views.Suggestions are put forward from the aspects of curriculum,teachers and students,such as the choice of teaching language and textbook content,what measures schools should take,how teachers should improve their teaching ability,and what actions students should take to achieve better learning effects.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction of this paper,which introduces the research background,research status,research objects,research design and research methods.The second chapter clarifies the definition of "An Overview of China" course studied in this paper,clarifies the status of "An Overview of China" course and describes the current situation of "An Overview of China" course in 7 universities in Chengdu.The third chapter analyzes the questionnaire data and finds some problems.The fourth chapter combines the collected data,questionnaire data and interview data to integrate the existing problems and analyze their causes.The fifth chapter puts forward improvement suggestions according to the existing problems.Finally,this paper summarizes and the drawbacks of this thesis are presented.
