Study On The Image Expression Of Chinese Traditional Handicraft Documentary

As a concentrated embodiment of the wisdom of contemporary Chinese people advancing with The Times and the boundless national creativity,the documentary on Chinese traditional handicrafts records the living conditions and cultural spirit of a large number of craftsmen.Chinese traditional handicraft documentaries have greatly enriched the living practice and spiritual world of modern people and realized the inheritance and perpetuation of traditional culture.The documentaries on Chinese traditional handicrafts are recorded by audiovisual records and transmitted by images,bringing the craftsmanship back to the public’s vision and arousing the society’s attention to traditional culture.This study takes Chinese traditional handicrafts subject documentary as the research object,combined with personal graduation work "Craftsman’s Art New Life",explores the image expression strategy of traditional handicrafts subject documentary from two aspects of narrative content and audiovisual image expression,and provides valuable thinking for the creation of Chinese traditional handicrafts subject documentary.This paper discusses the image expression of Chinese traditional handicraft documentaries in five chapters.The first chapter is a comprehensive overview of Chinese traditional handicraft documentaries.First of all,the development process of traditional handicraft documentaries is sorted out and the creation value is summarized,and then the relevant core concepts are defined.The second chapter analyzes the current situation of the image expression of Chinese traditional handicraft documentaries,and points out three problems in the image expression:deviating theme,floating on the surface and lacking the connotation of character image.The third chapter analyzes the narrative strategy of Chinese traditional handicraft documentary image expression.The author analyzes the three dimensions of narrative theme strategy,narrative technique strategy and craftsman image building strategy expressed in images,and explains these three dimensions in detail in combination with his graduation work "Craftsman’s Art Freshmen".The fourth chapter discusses the audio-visual expression of Chinese traditional handicraft documentaries.Starting from the image style,the aesthetic sense of form is organically combined with the connotation of thinking.The narrative expression and character image building are completed from the audiovisual perspective.The image thinking of traditional culture is written from three levels: sensory level,spiritual level and cultural level.The fifth chapter summarizes the creative experience of the graduation work "Craftsman Art Freshmen" and self-reflection shortcomings.Actively explore the innovation and development of Chinese traditional handicraft documentaries,hoping to provide more reference and inspiration for the image expression of Chinese traditional handicraft documentaries.
