Research On The Creation Strategy Of Documentary Film On Traditional Chinese Medicine

As an important type of documentary film,documentary film on traditional Chinese medicine is a treasure of Chinese culture.Most of these documentaries mainly focus on the growth environment and technology of Chinese herbal medicine.The limitation of external creative environment and its own limitations make the creation of Chinese medicine documentaries lack innovation.In order to improve the creative level of TCM documentary,this thesis demonstrates the creative strategy of TCM documentary based on documentary theory.Firstly,the author defines the related concepts of documentary film,TCM documentary film,summarizes the development of TCM documentary,and analyzes the current research situation of this kind of documentary.Secondly,in view of the limitations of TCM documentary film,the author’s graduation design works are combined with classic works,and the author’s graduation design works are analyzed.It mainly includes the following three aspects: focusing on the theme selection strategy of TCM culture,strengthening the narrative strategy of TCM storytelling,and enhancing the artistic beauty of TCM audio-visual expression strategy.Firstly,focusing on the theme-selecting strategy of TCM culture solves the problem of neglecting the cultural background of TCM and suggesting that TCM,regional culture,ecological culture and traditional culture should be intermingled.Secondly,the storytelling strategy of TCM is the only way to tell the story of TCM well.It is proposed that the storytelling should be strengthened by authentic materials,narrative structure and narrative techniques.Thirdly,the audio-visual expression strategies of enhancing artistic beauty of Chinese medicine are discussed from three aspects: poetic picture,ideological sound and special effects technology.Finally,the thesis is summarized and the future prospects of this study are presented.Summarize the contents of the research,and look forward to the future development trend of Chinese medicine documentary film.In conclusion,this study summarizes a set of practical and guiding strategies by analyzing the related theories,classic works and creative practice of TCM documentary films.
