In the chapter "Yang Sheng Zhu",Zhuangzi takes "Tao" as the core, explaining his thoughts and concerns about life.Although it is the shortest chapter in Zhuangzi’s book, the ideas it contains occupy an important place in the entire thought of Zhuangzi. It consists of four short fables, namely,"Paoding Decoupage of cattle," "Gong Wenxuan’s Meeting with the You Shi," Chickens in the wild," and "Qinshi Condolences Laozi",in which Zhuangzi’s thoughts on life,Taoist techniques,Mandate of Heaven, life and death, and form and spirit are all reflected in his philosophy of life.In Zhuangzi’s philosophy of life,Zhuangzi’s thoughts on how to respect life, preserve life and realize life have formed a systematic view of health.Zhuangzi’s health care is not only the care of "form",Zhuangzi’s health care is the care of "form" and "sprit",in fact,it is the guardianship of "nature".Human nature is naturally self-sufficient,and the guardianship of the true nature of life is related to the finite life and the infinite knowledge, the influence of many factors, such as name and punishment, life and fate, life and death, tiredness and rest, dream and consciousness, and punishment and solution.Zhuangzi proposed that the key to the maintenance of life is "to follow the natural laws of things".As the saying goes,"If you think of the scriptures, you can nourish your body, your nature, your relatives, and your years."The process of health care is actually a process of body "Tao".Due to the limitations of human knowledge and experience, their worldly understanding and value orientation will lead to the disappearance of the nature of life, through the "xin zhai","zuo wang" and other practice can be restored to its nature. When the nature of man is restored,he realizes the true meaning of "Tao",that is,he arrives at the realm of freedom that Zhuangzi pursues, which is "free" without restrictions.
