"Canal Ballad" is an excellent national opera born in recent years.With its deep humanistic atmosphere and the spiritual core of historical and cultural heritage,it reproduces a story of ups and downs on the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.It also creates Qin Xiaosheng,Shui Honglian,Guan Yanyan,Zhang Shuihen and other vivid characters through the elaborate plot,rich music and unique lyrics.Zhang Shuihen,as an important villain in Canal Ballad,is represented by the baritone voice in the national opera.Performers through the articulation of words and emotional expression,the combination of semi-vocal skills and emotional expression,opera performance skills "hand,eye,step" integration of use,vocal melody and piano accompaniment coordination and other unique artistic treatment and performance way,It highlights the unique ectoplasmic characteristics of characters,rich inner emotional characteristics,diverse artistic performance characteristics,and also fully shows the national and localized characteristics of baritone voice in national opera.By studying the singing characteristics and characterization of Zhang Shuihen,we can not only discriminate the singing forms of related characters,but also provide important references for the characterization of performers,and let more people feel the unique artistic charm of baritone voice in national opera.
