Exploring The Musical Expression And Technical Difficulties Of Marcel Grangiani's "Fantasy

Marcel Granjany is one of the most famous harpists in the world."Fantaisie"(Thème de Haydn,op.31)also known as Haydn Fantaisie,composed by Marcel Granjany in 1953,is a representative harp work with a perfect combination of musicality and technicality,and has a very important influence in the field of the harp."Fantaisie" contains a lot of technical difficulties in harp performance,and the melody texture of the entire piece is very delicate and rich,making it a must-have for harp competitions and exams.This article is conducted from three aspects.The first part reviews the creative background and influence of Marcel Granjany’s " Fantaisie" based on the methods of biographical research and literature review;The second part studies the musicality of " Fantaisie " through the analysis of musical structure and expression techniques;The third part summarizes the musical expression and performance technical difficulties of " Fantaisie " based on actual performance,reference media analysis and peer communication.Based on the above three aspects,this paper analyzes the musical expression characteristics and performance technical difficulties of Marcel Granjany’s "Fantaisie".
