On Practical Analysis Of The Gut Strings, Nylon Strings And Composite Material Strings In The Harp Playing

The harp is one of the oldest Musical Instruments in the world.As one of the most important components of the instrument,the strings have also undergone a long process of evolution.Compared with gut string of the violin family,which have been almost replaced by other materials,the gut string of the harp are still a long-lasting string variety.But there are few domestic academic papers on in-depth study of the gut strings.Based on my own experimental research and playing experience,I will combine the other two harp strings-the composite material string and the nylon string to try to discuss the unique sound of the gut string.This paper is divided into three chapters.First,explore the history and production technology of harp and gut strings.Second,the gut string is compared with nylon string and composite material string,and the differences of waveform and spectrum are studied from sensory perception,the specific differences between them are analyzed,and the author's practical suggestions for playing strings are put forward.Third,I'll put forward some ways of using and maintaining the gut string,and think about how to inherit and develop the gut string better.So that the players can treat the gut string more intuitively and rationally,and take care of the strings for playing.
