The Five Dynasties is an era of destruction and integration, and its characteristic is transition. In this paper, the Qianshu regime is selected as the "sample" of the development of political power in this period, and the commonness of times shown in its development process is the focus of this paper. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the article is divided into three chapters. The first chapter discusses the formation and division of the main groups of the Qianshu regime. At the end of the Tang Dynasty, the Sanchuan area in the south of the Jiannan was divided. The fact that Wang Jian, the former ruler of Qianshu, stood out from the competition was closely related to the strategy of developing his own power. In the process of the development of his forces,Wang Jian recruited talented men as military backbone by adopting fake children, recruited scholars living in Sanchuan area to take charge of government affairs, and accepted local "tuhao" forces to maintain social order.By integrating the vassal system with the main forces in society,Wang Jian gained competitive advantages and promoted the establishment of the Qianshu regime. The second chapter discusses the evolution of internal power structure and political situation in the early period of Qianshu. In order to ensure the long-term survival of the regime,Wang Jian supported scholars, princelings and pro-military forces in the court,in order to change the power structure of vassal system dominated by false sons and other military men,and promote the regime to the structure of the orthodox dynasty dominated by civil officials. But this process was interrupted by the occurrence of the "meta-revolution".In this event, the forces of the pro-military and the prince were completely destroyed, and the scholars suffered a great blow. The false sub-groups took advantage of this opportunity to further expand their power and influence in the court,so that Wang Jian’s efforts in the early stage of his rule were almost aborted, and the transformation of Qianshu came to a standstill. The third chapter discusses the evolution of internal power structure and internal and external situation in the later period of the Qianshu. After experiencing the "Yuan Yingzhibian" event, how to limit the power of false foster son’s groups and ensure the continuation of power became an urgent problem for Wang Jian.In this regard,Wang Jian adjusted the employment strategy and made eunuchs onto the political stage of Qianshu. However, the action of the eunuch group deviated from Wang Jian’s expectation, and they chose to cooperate with the false foster son’s group after failing to fight with the false foster son’s group. After Wang Yan ascended the throne, the false foster son’s group and the eunuch group jointly controlled the government, resulting in chaos in the court.Outside the regime,it was threatened militarily by the later Tang Dynasty in the Central Plains. In the end,the transformation of Qianshu ended in failure and went into decline under the predicament of internal diplomacy. The history of the Qianshu Dynasty shows the process from the establishment of the local autonomous regime to the transformation to the orthodox dynastic system in the Five Dynasties. The development of political power would not be separated from the background of The Times.Various problems would appear in the process of transformation of Qianshu, because of its internal factors and the influence of external environment. The interaction of internal and external interaction has resulted in inevitable historical results.
