A Study Of Ancient Words In Huixian Dialect

Huixian County is located in the southeast of Gansu Province,at the junction of Shaanxi and Gansu provinces,and belongs to Longnan City,Gansu Province.The dialect belongs to the official dialect of the Central Plains Qin Long.There are obvious differences within the Huixian dialect,combined with geographical and phonetic characteristics,which can be divided into northern and central and southern regions.The accent of the northern film is basically the same as that of the neighboring Qinzhou District and Maiji District of Tianshui City;The accent of the central and southern parts is relatively consistent,but some townships in the south are adjacent to Hanzhong City,Shaanxi Province,and the accent is slightly different;Due to the influence of Mandarin and the rapid economic development of Chengguan Town,where the county seat is located,many old things and their sayings have disappeared,and the living customs of Jiangluo Town in the central and western part of the county still retain a large number of local characteristics,especially a large number of ancient words in the dialect.This paper uses Jiangluo Town dialect as a representative of the ancient words of the Huixian dialect for research.On the basis of fieldwork,the ancient words of the Huixian dialect were sorted out and collected.The ancient words of Huixian dialect were comprehensively analyzed and described by combining diachronic hierarchical analysis and synchronic comparison with surrounding dialects,and then the characteristics of ancient words in Huixian dialect were displayed.The whole text is divided into five chapters: the introduction part,mainly introduces the geographical and humanistic situation of Huixian,research status,meaning,methods,pronunciation partners and related explanations,and introduces the phonology of Huixian dialect.The first chapter firstly introduces the principles of word collection in this article,and then focuses on the interpretation of ancient words retained by the Huixian dialect.The second chapter focuses on analyzing and summarizing the changes and characteristics of ancient words in the Huixian dialect from three aspects: phonetics,word formation,and word meaning.The third chapter mainly divides the historical hierarchy of ancient words in Huixian dialect and compares them with other dialects in the form of tables,further analyzes the characteristics of ancient words in Huixian dialect from the perspective of diachronic and synchronic times,and finally determines the source of their formation.The concluding part summarizes the many characteristics of ancient words in the Huixian dialect.
