| Chen Ancestral Hall is known as the "artistic pearl of Lingnan architecture",among which the "seven wonders" architectural decoration plays an important role.Pottery and grey sculptures,collectively known as the two sculptures,are the most colorful roof components in the "seven wonders" architectural decoration of Chen Family Temple.The two sculptures have rich decoration themes and bright colors,which contain rich humanistic spirit and unique regional characteristics.Under the background of emphasizing cultural confidence,as an intangible cultural heritage,the decorative themes of the two sculptures should be promoted and innovated through the media.Judging from the current development of the decorative themes of the two sculptures,it is still rare in both theory and practice to combine the decorative themes of the two sculptures of Chen Temple with illustrations,especially for young people,the culture contained in the decorative themes of the two sculptures is not profound enough.At the same time,the theme of the two plastic sculptures has not been properly developed and utilized,and the inheritance and promotion of the two plastic culture is facing crisis and challenge.Therefore,this paper starts from the theme of the two models,mining to academic value and application value.The two-plastic architectural decoration of Chen Ancestral Hall belongs to folk art.The brutalist leader Matisse’s strong interest in and reasonable absorption of Oriental art makes it common with folk art in artistic characteristics and aesthetic taste.Moreover,fauvism style is still widely recognized in the application of creation.Moreover,illustration has become a mainstream media for its intuitive information transmission,strong visual impact and other advantages.Based on this,combining fauvism style with the two plastic themes through illustration can not only quickly let people understand the culture of the two plastic themes and broaden the inheritance channels,but also reflect the integration of Chinese and Western.This research takes the above background as the writing framework,and the introduction starts from the research background and current situation to sort out,integrate and analyze the relevant literature.This thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which determines the research object,objective,content,innovation point and significance of this paper on the basis of combing,and establishes the research framework.Chapter two,the fauvism,Chen Ancestral hall and Lingnan folk culture specific theoretical summary.The third chapter,by collecting relevant materials of the two sculptures,explores the technology and color modeling of the two sculptures,and summarizes the cultural implication of the two sculptures by sorting out the decorative themes of the two sculptures.The fourth chapter clarifies the performance characteristics and development status of illustration,explores the meeting point between the decorative themes of the two sculptures,brutalism style and illustration,and summarizes the value of architectural decoration themes of the Chen ancestral Hall in design.The fifth chapter is based on the decoration theme of Chen Ancestral Hall for illustration design practice and application,to help the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage. |
