| This article is a report on E-C mock simultaneous interpretation of electronic product.Nowadays,with the continuous development of science and technology,the connection between human life and electronic products has been inseparable.Therefore,the translation task of electronic products is also increasing day by day.More and more translation companies have set up professional electronic product translation projects,which also increases the challenges faced by interpreters.First,electronic product translation focuses on professionalism and accuracy;second,electronic product translation focuses on vocabulary update;third,electronic product translation should be in line with international standards.In this paper,as a mock simultaneous interpretation of an electronic product introduction meeting.It mainly includes the introduction of interpretation practice,the process of interpretation practice,the problems encountered in interpretation practice,the strategies to solve them and the summary of the practice and so on.After listening to the recording of the interpretation practice and transcribing it into text,the author of the report found that the problems encountered in the practice were mainly divided into four kinds: misinterpretation of long and difficult sentences,misinterpretation and missing interpretation of technical terms and redundancy.The author proposes corresponding solution strategies amplification,segmentation,reformulation and simplification based on relevant case studies through practical experience and post-interpretation reflection in the interpretation process to solve these problems.It is hoped that this interpretation practice report may provide some useful experience for future interpretation practice in similar situations. |
