| The corpus selected for this simulation interpreting practice is a panel discussion with five experts centering on Marshall’s book All that is Solid Melts into air. This interpreting practice report mainly analyzes the redundancy problems, nonfluency problems, difficulties in the distribution and coordination in the process of interpreting practice, and puts forward corresponding interpreting strategies through case analysis. For the redundancy problem of the target language, the report adopts the strategy of integrating and optimizing the information of the source language and the target language respectively. When dealing with the non-fluency problem of the target language, the strategies of flexibly transforming the difficult words of the source language, deverbalization and controlling the speed of the target language are used to deal with those problems.Meanwhile,This report solves difficulties of cognitive resources in the distribution and coordination by means of omission, reconstruction of fragmented information and explicitation of the internal logic of the hidden source language. This report hopes it can provide some guidance for graduate students majoring in translation. |
