The Jianghuai region of Anhui Province is bordered by Dabie Mountain in the west, with many flat platforms in the middle,Huaihe River in the north and Yangtze River in the south. It is a place with convenient water conservancy and suitable for survival, which gave birth to the ancient culture of the region. The Doujitai culture prevailed in Anhui Jianghuai area since Xinzhai period until the Dachengdun type of Shang culture came into being under the control of Shang culture in Central Plains during the second period of Early Shang Culture. On the basis of extensive collection of materials, this paper uses stratigraphy and typology to group corresponding typical sites in Anhui Jianghuai area.According to the evolution of major artifacts, the chronological sequence of the Xia Dynasty to Early Shang period is preliminatively established, which is divided into 7 periods, roughly corresponding to the Erlitou and Erligang cultural periods in Central Plains.Based on the analysis of the cultural factors, the composition of the archaeological remains of the early Shang Dynasty in the Jianghuai area of Anhui Province and their interaction with the surrounding cultures of the same period are investigated. It is believed that Jianghuai area is influenced by Central Plains,Haidai,Ningzhen and northeast Hubei due to its special geographical location, and its cultural composition is complex. The Xia Dynasty was mainly influenced by the local cultural factors, but also by the Longshan-Erlitou cultural factors in Central Plains,Longshan-Yueshi cultural factors in Shandong and Dianjiangtai cultural factors. In the early Shang period, the Dachengdun type of Shang culture was formed in the first and second stage of Early Shang culture.According to the different cultural characteristics, the Anhui Jianghuai region is divided into three areas. The Doujiatai culture is mainly distributed in the hills of Jianghuai and Chaohu Lake basin. The Xuejiagang relics of the Xia and Shang Dynasties in Dabie Mountain area in southwest Anhui do not belong to the Doujiatai culture, although it has been influenced by Erlitou culture and Panlongcheng type,it still cannot be classified into other cultures and is temporarily called Xuegang relics. In terms of bronze.Based on the analysis of the high specification bronzes unearthed from Sanguanmiao site,it is believed that the age of these bronzes belongs to the first phase of lower Erligang, and it is speculated that Chaohu basin may be related to the historical event of Jie’s southern nest recorded in the literature.Conclusion.The process of nationalization in Jianghuai area started after the formation of Dachengdun type, which is equivalent to the Doujitai culture in the Xia Dynasty, there was no obvious class differentiation.
