The Research And Practice Of Watercolor Painting With Nostalgia Complex

Since ancient times,many literati have recorded their homesickness complex in a unique way,among which the creation of homesickness paintings is one of the commonly used expressive techniques.With the rapid development of the times,people are far away from their hometown for various reasons,such as going out to study,doing business and pursuing their own ideals.In a strange city,people feel more and more nostalgic for their hometown.If homesickness is something that we can feel,then in painting creation,the artist’s homesickness is work condensed with emotion expressed through painting creation,and emotion is an indispensable factor in a successful work.This paper focuses on the research of homesickness complex in watercolor landscape painting.It reflects homesickness complex through practical creation and realizes the transformation of emotion and practice,theory and practice.Through combing the author’s own homesickness complex and combining with other artists’ expressions of homesickness,the author gradually carries out practical operation,learns the artists’ methods of expressing homesickness feelings,and internalizes them into the author’s own unique emotional expression.Through creation and practice,I analyze my homesickness feelings,discover the beauty of my hometown again,and fully show my homesickness feelings.This article mainly focuses on the series of "Return" and expresses the author’s love for his hometown with the artistic language of watercolor painting.The full text is divided into four parts.The first part is the author’s overview of the homesickness complex,explaining the meaning of the homesickness complex,and learning the performance of the homesickness complex in watercolor paintings by artists.It shows that emotion is an indispensable factor in a successful work,and the homesickness complex is also an expression of artists’ emotion.It also systematically discusses the author’s own nostalgia for his hometown.The second part analyzes the artist’s expression of emotion and the artist’s homesickness in specific works of art from three aspects: composition,color and object image of watercolor painting.The third part includes the conception and exploration of his own creation,which is a concrete exposition of the creation process.Combining with the research and practice of the painting language and expression form in the creation process,he consciously adds his own expression concept and personality characteristics,and summarizes his personal views and understanding on the composition,color and water color expression of watercolor painting.This part is also the focus of the whole paper.Through the observation and performance of life and continuous artistic attempts,the scenery is internalized into the heart and externalized into practice.It is clear how to express homesickness through composition,color and artistic conception in watercolor painting.Through the paintbrush,the author depicts the most realistic appearance of his hometown in his heart and expresses his admiration for the simple people in his hometown.The fourth part is the comprehension and summary of this creation,which sublimates the emotion through the creation practice and records the emotion in the form of pictures and words.Through research,the performance and understanding of nostalgia complex in watercolor landscape painting is deepened,which has certain academic value and practical significance.
