Study On Calligraphy Of Mount Carving On Cliff In Fubo, Guilin

Cliff carvings on Fubo Mountain in Guilin,as an important part of Guilin cliff carvings,are also the epitome of Guilin’s history,culture and art.This paper studies the calligraphy of113 square cliff engravings in Fubo Mountain,Guilin,and investigates the geographical environment,time distribution,space distribution,content classification and historical development of the cliff engravings in Fubo Mountain.At the same time,the author analyzes the characteristics of calligraphy art of the five types of calligraphy and discusses the representative calligraphers and their works,and further excavates the calligraphy art value of the cliff stone carving on the Fubo Mountain in Guilin.The thesis is divided into six chapters to carry on the whole research to the cliff stone carvings of the Fubo Mountain in Guilin.The first chapter mainly elaborates the geographical environment,time distribution,space distribution and content classification of the cliff stone carvings in Guilin Fubo Mountain.First of all,Fubo Mountain has its unique geographical environment,the Tang Dynasty built a city near it,integrating politics,culture and military;Secondly,the rock carvings on the cliff of Fubo Mountain were distributed in each dynasty from Tang to Qing Dynasty.Finally,it mainly distributed around Huanzhu Cave in space.The second chapter is mainly about the historical development of cliff carvings in Fubo Mountain from Tang Dynasty to Qing Dynasty.It divides the cliff carvings in Fubo Mountain into five historical development stages: the beginning of Tang Dynasty,the flourishing of Northern Song Dynasty,the peak of Southern Song Dynasty,the downturn of Yuan and Ming Dynasty,and the revival of Qing Dynasty,and analyzes the reasons for their rise and fall.The third chapter mainly analyzes the book style and character characteristics of the cliff stone carving of Guilin Fubo Mountain,including banners,long scrolls,titles,banners,halls,couplets,screens and other book styles.The fourth chapter is the key chapter of the analysis of calligraphy art.In the 113 square cliff engravings of Fubo Mountain,there are 1 square of seal script,4 square of official script,71 square of regular script,30 square of running script,3 and4 square of cursive script.The thesis mainly analyzes the art from the vigorous and simple official script,the bold and rich regular script,and the simple and smooth cursive script.The fifth chapter is also the key chapter,mainly studies the representative calligraphers and their works on the cliffs of Fubo Mountain.The writers of the Northern Song Dynasty include Li Shizhong,Zhang Xian,Mi Fu,Li Duanchen,etc.The Southern Song calligraphers include Fan Chengda,Zhang Xiaoxiang,Zhan Yizhi,Zhu Xiyan,Fang Xinru,etc.There were Shi Shuhu,Liang Zhangju and other calligraphers in Qing Dynasty.The sixth chapter is to sort out the artistic value contained in the rock carvings on the cliff of Fubo Mountain,and has the calligraphy art creation concept of taking the method from the cliff;At the same time,these cliff stone carvings also play a very great value in academic research,and the historical data in them also have great potential value for future generations.
