| Cave 82 of the Bezeklik is a small rectangular transverse roof cave,built between the middle of the 10 th century and the middle of the 11 th century,the main room is painted with images of flowers,birds,trees,people and other images,and its composition is more unique,different from the Buddhist mural works of the same period.Cave 82 in Bezeklik is a monumental cave built in honor of the monks,which belongs to the cave,and there is a sand pottery box in the back room,and the bones are preserved in the box.This paper aims to study the pictorial art of Cave 82 in Bezeklik,and through an in-depth analysis of its texts and images,the following three issues are explored: first,the interpretation of the subject matter;the second is connotation analysis;The third is artistic expression.First of all,the interpretation of the theme: Through the reading of the content of the murals in Cave 82 of Bezeklik,it is found that the scene of the Dragon Boat Festival depicted in Zhou Wenxu’s "Dragon Boat Baby Play" is relatively similar,such as the plants calamus,daylilies,hollyhocks,etc.that appear during the Dragon Boat Festival,and combined with the main wall of Cave 82 of Bezeklik depicting two children shooting in the mountains and forests,it is established that the theme of the mural painting of Cave 82 in Bezeklik is the catastrophe.Secondly,the analysis of connotation: First,the design intention of the cave is discussed in combination with the environment and function,and through the comparative study with the "Dragon Boat Baby Play",it is found that this theme itself has a cultural connotation of repelling evil spirits and avoiding disasters and praying for blessings.Combined with the fact that Cave 82 of Bezeklik belongs to the cave,it itself has the function of a cave,and its mural content is mostly a realistic scene of nature,which is different from the garden landscaping of "Dragon Boat Baby Play",and it is determined that Cave 82 of Bezeklik has the meaning of shooting and disaster.Finally,the appreciation of artistic expression: from the perspectives of brushwork,coloring,composition and other perspectives to discuss the artistic expression methods and stylistic characteristics of cave 82 murals,the wall paintings of Cave 82 in Bezeklik depict natural life scenes,but they are constrained by religious powder,and are more stylized in artistic expression. |
