| During the period of the Republic of China,chapter cursive ushered in the development again.Under the background of open and free calligraphy in the Republic of China,Zhangcao art has attracted a number of calligraphers in the Republic of China to inherit and innovate the traditional Zhang cursive script,explore a variety of features of Zhangcao creation,and made remarkable achievements.The study of Zhangcao calligrapher in the period of the Republic of China mainly focuses on Shen Zengzhi,Wang Quchang,etc.,while the calligraphy of Luo Fukan,the "Beijing" calligrapher,is rarely covered.Luo Fukan was once one of the "four great calligraphers in Old Beijing" and had a pivotal position in the "Beijing and Tianjin" Zhangcao group.His Zhangcao enjoys the reputation of "the first person in modern Zhangcao" in the literary circle.Luo Fukan learned from Ouyang Xun in his early years,and later learned from Kang Youwei with his teacher.Due to Luo Fukan’s extensive calligraphy skills,his cursive calligraphy collected the essence of the Song Ke and the Six Dynasties inscriptions,strong brush force,majestic body,set hard and unrestrained in a body,forming an unrestrained and elegant calligraphy style.He was also keen on collecting calligraphy rubbings and originals,which played a crucial role in the formation of his calligraphy style.Under the background of historical change in the Republic of China,this paper explores the historical role of Luo Fukan in the development of Zhangcao.The author also makes a complete study of Luo Fukan’s friends,the origin of his learning of books,and his style characteristics.By analyzing his cursive calligraphy works and "Brief Introduction to Calligraphy",the author explores the concept of learning of books behind the formation of his style of writing. |
