| In the context of the Shanxi government’s efforts to create a cultural tourism brand of "Touring Shanxi,Reading History",tourism has become an important way for people to understand Chinese culture and enhance their cultural confidence.Located in Pingyao County,Jinzhong City,Shanxi Province,Shuanglin Temple covers an area of 15,000 square meters and has more than 2,000 colorful sculptures,which are of great artistic value,but the cultural connotations behind the sculptures are not well known to the public.The author researched the colorful sculptures of Shuanglin Temple in Pingyao and drew the stories behind the sculptures as digital illustrations,and presented them using the threedimensional means of Mental Canvas software.In this practice process,the author first researched the colorful sculptures of Shuanglin Temple and analyzed their artistic characteristics to clarify the connotation of the design work to be presented;secondly,by studying the expression form of digital illustration art,analyzing the cases of digital illustration three-dimensional,and summarizing the artistic language used to present the digital illustration three-dimensionally;finally,the design practice was created by adapting the story of the selected colorful sculptures to produce a three-dimensional digital illustration works,which can be disseminated through the Internet.The author hopes that this study will increase the exposure of the Shuanglin Temple Colorful Sculpture Museum and attract more visitors to appreciate the cultural connotation of the Shuanglin Temple Colorful Sculpture while paying attention to the beauty of the art of Shuanglin Temple Colorful Sculpture.At the same time,this design study is also an attempt to keep up with the times and use new software technology and new expression language to convey Chinese culture in the process of promoting and designing tourist attractions. |
