of Taoism.Many of the image characters of the Yellow Emperor were shaped during the Pre-Qin and Han dynasties,which were crucial periods for the evolution of the myth and image of the Yellow Emperor.On the basis of previous scholars’ research,this thesis,according to the handed down documents and combining with the unearthed materials,by combing the process of the image evolution in the myth of the Yellow Emperor,discusses the reasons of the evolution of the cultural connotation,the myth and the image of the Yellow Emperor of the orthodox,the influence of the Chinese civilization and national spirit.The first chapter starts from the literature,explores the mythological images of the Yellow Emperor in the Pre-Qin period,sorts out and classifies the mythological images of the Yellow Emperor,and discusses the ideological and cultural connotation of their images.The mythological images of the Yellow Emperor in this period are mainly reflected in the myth of the Yellow Emperor on all sides,the invention and creation,and the myth of war.In the myth of the Yellow Emperor on all sides,the Yellow Emperor appeared as the supreme image of the creation god,which was the cosmic god
