| A community is a social life community formed by residents,a public space that provides residents with living services and carries regional traditional culture and customs.The food market is one of the important service spaces in the community,providing residents with basic livelihoods and also playing a non-negligible role in the vitality of the crowd.From ancient marketplaces to modern markets,food markets have never been only a single commercial space,but also a platform for neighborhood interaction and a bridge for spiritual exchange,which is why they occupy an irreplaceable position in the community.Nowadays,many old communities have been formed for a long time,in which the community food markets still retain their traditional and lagging forms,and therefore encounter some obstacles and stagnation in development with the changes of the times and changes in people’s living standards,consumption concepts and payment methods.Based on the development dilemma of community food markets,this paper explores the cultural,artistic and commercial values brought by the renewal of food markets to communities from the perspective of community micro-renewal.Community micro-renewal has been a relatively hot topic and urban renewal approach in recent years,using the renovation and renewal of old buildings and micro-spaces to enhance the overall vitality of the community,not only on the physical level,but more importantly,on the spiritual level of community construction.This paper selects the traditional vegetable market in the community as the research object,and by studying the relationship between the community and the vegetable market,under the premise of satisfying the basic functions,the artistic transformation of the vegetable market is carried out with small but precise and low-input furnishing techniques,while preserving the fireworks of the vegetable market,strengthening the presentation of regional culture,attracting more social attention,and achieving the effect of promoting community development and vitality enhancement.Huangjueping food market is a typical traditional community food market in the old city of Chongqing,which has the commonality of traditional food markets and the individuality of Chongqing and Huangjueping area.As an important link in the community,from its past prosperity to its present dismal state,Huangjueping Market is facing some problems that cannot be ignored if it wants to change its status quo.The purpose of this study is to stimulate community vitality from small to large and from point to point through the artistic transformation of the furnishings of Huangjueping Market in the context of the comprehensive renovation and upgrading of Huangjueping Graffiti Street.Through literature review,survey and case study,this paper firstly analyzes the background conditions of policy,humanities and reality factors,and determines the renewal of community food market as the main subject of the study;secondly,it analyzes the relationship between community and food market,introduces the micro-renewal theory,derives the necessity of renewal of community food market,and analyzes the transformation of its role after renewal,and also summarizes through studying domestic and foreign cases Then we analyze the problems faced by Huangjueping vegetable market at the present stage,its development advantages and the necessity of renewal based on the visitation survey and background combing;finally,we conduct an in-depth investigation and research from the perspective of community micro-renewal and finally,we conduct an in-depth investigation and research from the perspective of community micro-renewal and furnishing design,translate theory into practice,propose specific renovation strategies and make design attempts by combining Huangjueping’s regional culture,and hope to provide a new way of thinking for community micro-renewal and traditional vegetable market renovation through this study. |
