| The Community is the centralized embodiment of urban civilization,and the design of community public space is a critical vehicle for real estate companies to showcase their corporate culture.Poly Real Estate,a state-owned corporation in China,is also credited with pioneering the concept of "cultural real estate." It promotes Chinese traditional culture via design and art events,therefore fostering art and culture inheritance and innovation.Among these,the patriotic deed of retrieving the bull head,monkey head,and tiger head from the Yuanmingyuan’s twelve animal fountainheads and returning them to the country is the most special manifestation of Poly’s brand stories.The study explore the cultures within the space,and provide theoretical references and case for the design of more public spaces.This thesis takes the public art in the space of Poly Real Estate’s community projects as the research content.Moreover,a huge number of contents regarding Poly Real Estate were gathered by field study and projects.First,it examines the requirements of individuals for their living space,addresses the value of cultural atmosphere in community,and explores the present state of research both domestically and internationally.The study on the Poly Group,the concept of community,the origin of public art,and the scope of public art in community.secondly,through case studies of Poly Real Estate,the three main types of cultural are summarized,and the relationship between cultural and the art of communities is clarified.Based on the above,the author comes to the conclusion that the spatial design of Poly Real Estate is influenced by the brand culture,southern and northern cultures,and explains the importance to create cultural in the community,as well as the influence between people.Finally,the thesis finalizes the design of murals and patterns of twelve zodiac on the basis of the theoretical study.And through a combination of theoretical and practical method,it creates cultural atmosphere for Poly’s zodiac-themed community.Figure 98;Table 2;Reference 44... |
