With the development of the Internet and the rise of new communication media, the interaction mode of the mass society is constantly changing, and the interaction mode of the younger generation is also changing from the traditional real world to the virtual world, and the network interaction behavior has become diversified.Virtual idols are an emerging phenomenon. They exist in virtual networks and are known as "idols who never make mistakes and never grow old" with perfect characters. The development process of virtual idols has gone through a process from simple to complex. From the initial single-plane virtual characters to the 3D simulation virtual idols designed by fans, the diversity brought about by this development has improved the interaction between virtual idols and fan groups. The emergence and evolution of new virtual idols are inextricably linked with fan groups, who also play an increasingly important role in the design of virtual idols.By studying the interactive behavior between virtual idols and fans,it helps us to understand the basic characteristics of virtual idol design, the process of fans participating in the design and the motivation behind it.This paper takes the symbolic interaction theory as the basic theoretical tool, and sorts out a large number of domestic and foreign scholars’ research on network interaction, referring to a large number of relevant literature, and finally selects virtual idols and their fan groups as the research objects. The case study method is used to observe and analyze virtual idols and their interaction with fans,so as to study the characteristics of meta-design in the interactive design of virtual idols,as well as the motives and ways of fans to participate in the design. This thesis is roughly divided into five parts. The first chapter briefly expounds the research background, significance and research ideas of this paper. At the same time,it sorts out the research status of symbolic interaction theory and virtual idols, and determines the relevant core concepts and theories. The second chapter studies the evolution process of virtual idols, including the development process of virtual idols, the changing process of presentation forms, classifications and types, and finally analyzes its design characteristics. The third chapter analyzes the design process of virtual idols based on the theory of symbolic interaction, which is divided into two aspects: official and fan groups.First,it discusses the way that the official virtual idol constructors design their interaction;second,it explores the field, method and motivation of the fan group to participate in the design, and analyzes and judges the fan group’s participation in the design behavior. The fourth chapter analyzes the problems existing in the interactive design of virtual idols from the specific design phenomenon on the basis of the previous research, and tries to put forward constructive suggestions. Finally, based on the previous analysis conclusions, the design process, methods and design points of the interactive design of virtual idols are summarized to provide a design theoretical basis for enhancing the effectiveness of virtual idol design. |
