| Folk belief is rooted in Chinese local society,and is characterized by regionality and diversity due to the geographical environment,social culture system and group production and life style of different regions.It shows the unique understanding of the local community to nature,society and even the world.It is an important part of our traditional culture.Wenxian County is located in the southernmost part of Gansu Province,at the intersection of Gansu,Shaanxi and Sichuan Provinces.It is a place where Qinlong culture and Bashu culture are mixed together,and also a place where the ancient Qiang ethnic group have been active.In the course of long-term historical development,Wenxian local folk customs containing multi-cultural elements have formed,and the belief of Yangtang Dragon King is a typical representative of local folk culture.The belief in dragon kings in the western soup mainly exists in the people’s lives through the forms of legends,temples,sacrificial activities,rituals and rituals,etc.,and exerts a wider influence on the local people’s social life.This paper takes Tianchi Town,Qiaotou Town,Jianshan Town and Linjiang Town,where Yangtang Longwang Temple is built in Yangtanghe District,Wenxian County,as the field point.By using the "field triangle" method composed of in-depth interview,participation observation and direct experience,we collected first-hand data about Yangtang dragon king,and analyzed the forms of belief in Yangtang dragon king from the perspective of ethnology,religion,history and folklore.Firstly,the paper simply combs the natural and human environment conditions on which the belief of the Dragon King in the Tang Dynasty depends.Secondly,the author tries to interpret the body of the dragon king in the historical records and the great image of the dragon king in the collective memory of the people,so as to analyze the cultural status of the dragon king in the local culture.On this basis,the related rituals in different social spaces are described,and the results show that the activities of the sacrifice of the Dragon King in the Western Tang Dynasty are closely related to the agricultural production of the people,the sacred and the secular worlds in the rituals are closely linked together through various media,and the ritual of "passing on the master" is behind the chaotic deity system.the core and other conclusions.Then,it analyzes the function of belief and ritual,and points out that belief culture and ritual activities satisfy the spiritual needs of individuals,groups and society in social space to a certain extent.At last,explains the cultural heritage of belief in the Longwang belief from the different social levels and the adaptation of belief and society.It is considered that in order to adapt to the modern society,it is necessary to deal with the relationship between the dual attributes of non-legacy culture and folk belief,and also to guide folk followers and ritual experts such as Duanduan to better adapt to the transformation of modern society.In general,as a local small traditional culture,the belief and ritual activities in the Dragon King of the Tang Dynasty have profound historical background and rich cultural connotations,reflect the production and life of local people,and are a kind of cultural symbol to enhance local cohesion.And help us understand Wenxian local culture has certain practical significance. |
