| From the end of the 19 th century to the beginning of the 20 th century,Western ideas,culture and art continued to flow into China.Whether it was the exchange of Chinese and Western art or the development of Western-style art education activities in China,they all brought innovations in Chinese art and culture.The period of the Republic of China was an important period for the opening of China’s modern art education activities.At that time,the pioneers of Chinese aesthetic education practice continued to explore and find new development space and models,and they have influenced them to this day.Based on this,this paper takes Wan Congmu,a local artist and educator in Chongqing,and his development of aesthetic education as the core research object,attempts to restore Wan Congmu’s contribution to the development of modern art education in Southwest China,and summarizes the ideas behind his aesthetic education activities concept,in order to summarize the relevant experience beneficial to the practice of aesthetic education today.In the specific research process,this paper comprehensively uses the methods of field investigation,comparative research,document sorting and interviews to organize and analyze the aesthetic education activities of Wan Congmu in different periods as the core clues.The main body of the article is divided into four parts.The first chapter mainly restores Wan Congmu’s early study experience through data collection and sorting.Wan Congmu’s early artistic study track is an important basis for the formation of his personal aesthetic education thought;the second chapter,mainly based on Wan Congmu’s early art activities after returning to his hometown from studying and sorting out the research content.In this part of the research,the author also verified the establishment of "Art World" through historical data.In addition,the author also noticed that Wan Congmu organized the publication of the patriotic publication "Special Issue of the Anti-Enemy Painting Exhibition" in 1938,and organized and analyzed it.Previous studies on Wan Congmu paid less attention to this part;the third chapter,Taking the "Private Southwest Fine Arts College" as the research content,this school is the first art college in Chongqing founded by Wan Congmu and others based on the "Chongqing Fine Arts Society".Art colleges and universities with earlier and longer running time aim to teach new art and cultivate art talents.Wan Congmu,as the main person in charge of the "Private Southwest Fine Arts College",did his best to deal with various difficulties on the road of running a school,and achieved admirable school-running results.The fourth chapter investigates Wan Congmu’s pioneering aesthetic education work since 1920,from the establishment of an art society,the establishment of an art newspaper,to the establishment of the "private southwest art college" and other pioneering work in the specific historical environment at that time.Grasp the historical significance of the aesthetic education ideology and practice embodied by him as the forerunner of aesthetic education in the southwest region.From this point of view,Wan Congmu’s aesthetic education activities are mainly divided into three periods and three ways.The three periods can be divided into: the first period,Wan Congmu returned to Chongqing in 1921 in the early days.In the second period,Wan Congmu participated in the establishment of the "Chongqing Art Society" in 1922,and carried out aesthetic education activities together with other local colleagues;third During the period,in 1925,Wan Congmu,together with He Pingjiu,Yang Gongtuo and others,founded the "Private Southwest Fine Arts College" and began a school career of more than 20 years.Around the three periods,Wan Congmu’s aesthetic education activities can also be divided into three ways,one is community activities,the other is publishing publications and exhibitions,and the third is higher art education.On the whole,the three periods and three ways of Wan Congmu’s aesthetic education activities not only reflect his personal efforts to promote aesthetic education in Chongqing and even the southwest,but also reflect the development process of my country’s aesthetic education at that time.A microcosm of the plowing process of aesthetic educators.It is necessary to update the aesthetic education concept with the development of the times.We must not only summarize the experience from the aesthetic education practice of aesthetic education workers in the Republic of China,but also continue to carry out aesthetic education work with the aesthetic education concept suitable for the development of the times. |
