Bivalent nouns are the most frequently used words in modern Chinese.It is also heavily present in the syllabus for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.When we search bivalent nouns in corpus,we find that there are more errors in the acquisition of bivalent nouns by international students.It can be seen that studying the acquisition of bivalent nouns by international students can not only enrich the study of Chinese bivalent nouns,but also effectively guide the acquisition of bivalent nouns by international students and improve their efficiency of learning Chinese.Based on the theory of valency grammar and second language acquisition,this paper combines theoretical research,textbook analysis,acquisition investigation and teaching practice.First of all,this paper discusses the definition standard of bivalent nouns,discusses the thirteen related sentence patterns of Chinese bivalent nouns,and investigates the syntactic characteristics of Chinese bivalent nouns.At the same time,according to the definition standard of Chinese bivalent nouns,this paper makes a quantitative investigation of the disyllabic bivalent nouns in the Outline of Chinese Level Vocabulary and Chinese Character Hierarchy,and establishes a closed corpus.Secondly,it examines and analyzes the arrangement of bivalent nouns in three sets of general teaching materials for Chinese as a foreign language,including the number,recurrence,interpretation and practice setting of bivalent nouns,so as to lay a foundation for putting forward teaching suggestions.Thirdly,by analyzing the bias of overseas students’ Chinese bivalent nouns in the "Global Chinese interlanguage corpus",it is found that the types of bivalent noun bias of overseas students mainly focus on block bias,and then analyzes the causes of bivalent noun bias of overseas students,and investigates the mechanism of overseas students’ acquisition of bivalent nouns through questionnaires.The author,having conducted an investigation and research,proposes three teaching approaches for international students to acquire bivalent nouns: teacher instruction,student education,and textbook compilation. |
