| The ecological values and view of life contained in the pet documentary are discussed on the ground of ecological aesthetics theory,which is of positive and important significance for the survival and development of human beings.Through analyzing and summarizing the creative ideas and methods embodied in the creation of excellent pet documentary in recent years,as well as combing with the creative practice of My Friend Stallone,this paper expounds the ideas and methods of pet documentary from the perspective of ecological aesthetics.There are five parts.The first part discusses the study background and value,study methods and literature review,and defines the core concepts.The second part elaborates the “pet view”under the care of ecological aesthetics,and confirms the existence of pets as “life subject”.Moreover,it summarizes the development of pet documentary and creative ideas,as well as clarifies that ecological concern of harmonious coexistence between people and pets ought to be conveyed in the creative ideas of excellent pet documentary.The third part states the theme selection and humanistic connotation.The pet documentary focuses on the relationship between people and pets,shows people’s life and emotions from the perspective of pets,and explains the equality consciousness of people and pets as well as the life relationship between them.The fourth part analyzes the narrative mode of pet documentary,including narrative language,narrative perspective,narrative style,and narrative structure.The fifth part is mainly about the ethical construction.Narrative style and ethical rules are the leading factors for effective expression of creative ideas.Excellent documentary about pets has participated in the civilization process of human beings in the new century with its unique record form,ecological consciousness orientation,theme connotation,narrative style and ethical character,and played the role of inspiring humanistic feelings,highlighting the unique aesthetic implication and social value of pet documentary. |
