| White noise, from the physical point of view, its frequency is very uniform in the entire audible range of human beings, and to some extent it can effectively suppress the interference of other external sounds,so as to achieve the purpose of noise elimination. As the pace of society has accelerated, the younger generation has become more aware of white noise, but its existence and transmission are in a single form. Therefore, this project is based on the theory of contextualization, exploring various ways of expressing white noise at the visual level,in order to enhance its interestingness and meet the diversified experiences and inner spiritual needs of the audience. This paper first investigates the concepts of contextualized design and white noise and its visual representation, and draws out the feasibility and rationality of applying contextualization theory to the visual representation of white noise,as well as the value and significance of contextualized white noise design.Starting from the study of the physical characteristics of white noise itself, through the analysis of sound visualization cases,we understand the visualization form of sound at the objective level and the subjective visualization form of human on the basis of multi-sensory,and collect and summarize the existing visual forms of sound interpretation.Secondly,on the basis of user research, several typical users were selected and interviewed to obtain user requirements. The purpose of the interview was to obtain from the typical users the selection of white noise types and the selection of scenarios that stimulate users’ emotions. Finally, based on the user needs, the selected white noises were graphically combined with the scenarios. The process included analyzing the white noises and their morphological relationships, and exploring how to combine them with the scenarios to design an innovative series of dynamic graphics and their extensions. This practice will attempt to reflect the "human" participation in contextualized design,so that people can not only experience the various forms of contemporary digital media presentation, but also call attention to their own inner spiritual experience and meet their needs in personalized and emotional design. |
