Mr.Wang Jianmin has always been committed to create music works with ethnic characteristics.Among his Guzheng music creations,"Sai Naim" and "Western Regions Capriccio" both created using elements of Xinjiang music, which contain rich ethnic characteristics of Xinjiang music, and have been widely disseminated by Guzheng performers, and " Western Regions Capriccio " has become a designated track for various major competitions. For Guzheng learners, analyzing the application of Xinjiang music elements in Guzheng works can understand the works better and guide performance practice. This thesis first analyzes the musical style characteristics of "Sai Naim" and "Muqam" in the two works,as well as the specific application of "Ashik tune",wandering sound, and Xinjiang music rhythm in the works. On this basis, through the integration of performance techniques and emotions, the performance interpretation of the two works is analyzed from these aspects: the perspectives of pitch control, the proportion distribution of two handed counterpoint melodies, the strength and weakness of rhythm and beat, the imitation of Xinjiang musical instruments by Guzheng performance techniques, and the expression of musical emotions in performance.
