A Study On The Takeover Of Shanghai Real Estate In The Early Days Of The People's Republic Of China (1949-1952

In the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,various large and small cities were liberated one after another,and the takeover work was carried out in an orderly manner.In order to restore social order and stability and realize the transformation of the old regime,the Communist Party of China carried out rectification of the real estate industry in Shanghai,which lacked management for a long time.Through the suburban land reform,the Communist Party of China took over the public property of the old regime,confiscated the real estate belonging to war criminals,bureaucratic capital and the chief anti-revolutionary elements,and gradually formed a systematic public real estate system.And the real estate Administration Office of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government unified allocation and management.The successful takeover of Shanghai’s real estate not only effectively alleviated the "housing difficulties" of the people’s complaints,properly solved a series of disputes and problems caused by housing conflicts,but also the Communist Party of China on whether the new regime can manage Shanghai,a widely questioned question handed over to the people’s satisfaction.Through combing the relevant archives,newspapers and other documents,this paper reconstructs in detail the takeover of Shanghai real estate by the Communist Party of China and the establishment of the public real estate system.The paper is divided into four chapters: the first chapter summarizes the difficulties and problems of Shanghai real estate on the eve of liberation;The second chapter describes the preparation for the takeover of Shanghai real estate by the Communist Party of China,from the clear takeover policy and the specific preparation for Dan Yang training;Chapter three illustrates the concrete process of the acceptance of Shanghai real estate,including the public property of the old regime and the real estate belonging to war criminals,bureaucratic capital and the leading anti-revolutionary elements.The fourth chapter explains that the real estate administration office of the people’s government shall manage all the public real estate uniformly and rectify and standardize it.Before the Communist Party of China took over the real estate in Shanghai,it had made full preparations to enter the city,which laid a solid foundation for the smooth operation of the takeover.In the process of the takeover,the take-over cadres strictly observed the city entry discipline,extensively mobilized the masses,followed the relevant policies formulated by the CPC Central Committee,and successfully completed the takeover of Shanghai real estate,which not only promoted the sound development of the real estate industry,but also won the public’s praise.
