Research On The Emotional Expression Of Public Welfare Documentaries

Public welfare documentaries convey public welfare ideas by recording public welfare figures and public welfare events,so as to arouse the public’s awareness and thinking of social responsibility and mission.This requires the creators to think about how the public welfare documentary can produce more emotional resonance with the audience and reach the audience,which makes the proposition of emotional expression of public welfare documentary become pivotal.Based on the theory of emotional cognitivism and the public welfare documentary,this paper first combs the concept,development status and the meaning of emotional expression of public welfare documentary;Secondly,it combines the emotional "concept","emotional structure" and "emotional intentionality" involved in the emotional cognitivism,and expounds the particularity of the emotional expression of public welfare documentaries;Then,it analyzes and summarizes the specific techniques of emotional expression from four aspects: the topic of the film,the natural presentation of the subject,"intrusive" shooting and post production;Finally,it discusses that the use of emotional expression in public welfare documentaries can realize the generation of three values: promoting social stratum communication,generating social benefits,and promoting public welfare practice.The main conclusion of this study is that the emotional expression of public welfare documentaries can rely on the correct "concept",social "emotional structure" and clear "intentionality" to generate creative techniques and values with the characteristics of emotional expression of public welfare documentaries.The author hopes to provide a new path and thinking for the creation of documentaries of the same theme by discussing the research on the emotional expression of public welfare documentaries.
