| Stroke is an important cornerstone of Chinese character learning,which profoundly affects the learning effect and learning process of learners.This paper takes the application level as the breakthrough point to explore the main teaching content and teaching order arrangement of stroke in the basic stage of international Chinese education.In order to improve learners’ reading ability and establish "Chinese character sense",the typeface of Song Typeface is taken as the research font.The theory of 24 common strokes is verified by using 3,500 common characters in the General Standard Chinese Characters Table.Based on this,the teaching value of basic pen position variation and pen position variation is further explored with objective data.Combining quantitative and qualitative analysis,this paper probes into the main teaching contents and teaching sequence of strokes in the basic stage.First of all,24 common strokes are taught,and then the content of basic stroke position variations is explained.Finally,the system of memorizing strokes is compared from multiple angles.International Chinese education textbooks are the main guiding materials for Chinese teachers’ teaching practice and the most important learning tools for Chinese learners,which fully reflect the current situation of Chinese teaching and learning.Three sets of textbooks with different teaching objects and writing styles,namely HSK Standard Course,Chinese Language and Experiencing Chinese Characters:Introduction,are selected as the objects of analysis.Based on the theory of new perspective,the textbooks are analyzed in order to comprehensively understand the current situation of stroke teaching and investigate the advantages and disadvantages of the textbooks.This paper puts forward some suggestions on stroke teaching from three main factors that influence teaching effect: international Chinese teaching materials,Chinese teachers and Chinese learners.The textbook needs to standardize the writing content of strokes;Learners need to develop a complete view of strokes;Teachers should improve their teaching ability of Chinese strokes. |
