The Influence Of Playfulness On The Creativity Of Higher Vocational Students: Perceived Competitive Pressure Plays A Moderating Role

This research is carried out from two aspects: creative personality and creative thinking ability.It is divided into two parts.The relationship between playfulness and creative personality is explored by questionnaire,and the regulatory role of competitive pressure between playfulness and creative thinking ability is further explored by experiment.Firstly,1039 vocational college students’ fun and creativity were measured by using The Runco Ideational Behavior Scale and The Chinese version of Adult Playfulness Trait Scale.Through the analysis,it is found that:(1)there is a significant positive correlation between the playfulness of vocational college students and their creative behaviors and their dimensions,and further regression analysis shows that the playfulness trait can positively predict the creative behaviors of vocational college students and their performance in all dimensions;(2)In terms of creative behavior,boys scored significantly higher than girls in the dimension of uniqueness;There was no significant gender difference in playfulness traits;(3)There are significant differences between vocational college students’ playfulness and creativity in the variable of whether they are student leaders or not.Then,the mixed experimental design of 2(playfulness grouping: high,low)x2(competitive pressure: high,low)was used to explore the relationship between competitive pressure,playfulness and creativity of vocational college students.The results showed that:(1)there was a significant positive correlation between competitive stress and creativity tasks,and it could significantly predict creativity;(2)the competitive pressure has a negative regulating effect between playfulness and creativity of vocational college students,that is,when vocational college students score higher on their sense of competitive pressure,the impact of their playfulness level on creativity is gradually weakened.Through the research,the following conclusions are drawn: the fun of vocational college students is positively related to their creativity and creative personality,and the high fun of vocational college students is less affected by competitive pressure,and their creative ability can always play a stable role.
